Connecting two computers together

You will need to create a workgroup which all your computers can work in.

Click Start, open My Computer
On the left, click on "View System Information"
The tabs along the top, Click on "Computer Name"
You can now see your workgroup name, to change this click on " Change" now rename your workgroup.
Restart the computer, this will update the settings

Do this to both computers then connect the computers together using the Patch Cable.

If you then goto My Network Places you then View Workgroup Computers (on the right) you will be able to see the two computers connected.
